Well, I’m ashamed that I didn’t take better photos of the magnificent feast Miss Chrissy whipped together earlier this month. She even heated up her apartment to a tropical 98 degrees so it really felt like we were in Thailand. Thought I should recap the menu for those who couldn’t enjoy the spread- tofu spring rolls with cucumber and peanuty goodness sauces, chicken sate, and pineapple shrimp curry for the entree. delish! And for dessert- mango upsidedown cake. a la mode. yummmmm.
Feasting chez Chrissy
It’ll be a tough act to follow for sure but we’re up for the challenge. Miki’s cousin(s?) will be in town to help out so hopefully more workforce = some good food.

L& R- Heather, Chrissy and I discussed this date at the walkabout the other night. Looks like it’s the only Saturday available until mid September and by then Miss Heather will be on the east side. so hopefully this date works for you 2. yes? If not, we can try and orchestrate a mid week event… And please pass along the invite to Ernesto & Ana.

This shot is from the fab powder day we all shared this winter in Mammoth (fab minus Chrissy’s spill off the chair).

yeah. getting shacked on the river. Then you coulda gotten back into the boat and had a frosty bud lite and some chex snacks and worked on your tan. but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. nobody wants to go to “Sacramento”. heh. well. I don’t know where else you can get bud lite from a boat cooler, stuff your face with chex snacks, and huff gas fumes while jetting by people fishing on the riverbanks ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
okay, *JULY 12. special alert* Chrissy is hosting the night of face stuffins. I hope you is all still free. I hired a clown. or maybe it’s a stripper. or maybe it’s a stripper clown, either way I’m not telling, because you’ll just have to show up to find out. and I’m not posting picture of that, because that’s for attendees eyes only.
